While serious journalists, to the extent that any still exist in
the United States, are presumably not allowed close to President
Trump, I have a dream that some courageous and patriotic person
miraculously included in the gaggle lobbing softball questions
to him as he prepares to board a helicopter or airplane would
dare to pose this one:
"Mr. President, on Friday you publicly told Prime Minister
Netanyahu to stop bombing Gaza. Israel is still bombing Gaza.
How are you coping with this demonstration of who is the boss in
the Israeli-American relationship?"
In light of Trump's thin skin and bloated but delicate ego, his
having to publicly field this question could produce the once
unimaginable American declaration of independence from Israeli
domination and control.
